Moving with Pets
Often when we move, we’re so busy with packing and preparing for the move that we forget to give proper attention to our pets. But we shouldn’t. For many pets, a move to a place with new sights, sounds and especially smells can be a challenge or even a trauma. It's the worst thing for your pet to lose the sense of security and tenderness from your side during such a stressful period in their lifes.
Don't make your pet feel forsaken during the turmoil of the move, give him your care and attention and try to maintain their daily routines as usual as always. It's always easier to go through difficulties with a friend you can rely on - be such a friend for your pets and you'll get even more loyalty than you expected from them.
Moving with dogs
Start packing 1 or 2 week before the actual day of the move in order not to get a dog overly excited when you try to pack everything in a rush during the last couple of days before movers arrive.
